Guadalupe Cubas answered "After completing CTN, what new awareness do you have for yourself (ME) and your community (WE) and what is one action you might take to continue to explore it?" 2022-03-14 11:02:38 -0700(ME) I had basic skills, but CTN helped me to develop these skills such as communication and problem-solven abilities.
(WE) I believe the society is full of changemakers and sometimes we don’t know where to start when in fact, there is a lot of tools and people out there that want to improve so we can all have a better future.
One action I might take is to keep searching for complex problems and participate in understanding them better and find sustainable solutions. -

Guadalupe Cubas answered "How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?" 2022-03-14 11:00:36 -0700I was kind of skeptical of having a phone call with someone like a stakeholder, the idea of it stressed me a bit. But while doing my research I found reliable sources, and calling a direct stakeholder is what helped me to go forward with the complex situation even better. I was more aware of how they see the situation and how they feel about it. Now I’ll do what it takes for something that is ‘right’.

Guadalupe Cubas answered "What was the most important part of the CTN experience you feel best supported your personal growth and goals?" 2022-03-14 09:57:50 -0700I have learned that having a team and all being commited to finding a solution for a complex problem is what makes the project better in many ways. I have learned so much from my teammembers and my mentors. All their specialization helped me to see the problem in others perspectives. I felt more like a changemaker for having feedbacks about our presentation. There was good and constructive criticism (positivtly) that helped me to see the problem/solutions even more in many other ways.

Guadalupe Cubas answered "How might ideate help you develop your active listening skills to brainstorm and reflect on ideas effectively with your team?" 2022-03-14 06:52:38 -0700I consider myelf as an introvert and ideate helped me to not be afraid to share my thoughts. I shouldn’t be ashamed of any idea that I have. Instead I should express them and maybe with my team we can develop it and make it better. I also have to listen and consider point of views from every teammate. Let them express their suggestions/ideas and mines also so we can have lots of ideas together. It’s better to have too much than not enough ideas to solve the complex problem. Having tools such as mind maps helps the team to have all of our ideas together.
